Cinnie’s litter were in the master bedroom. Three weeks the time has come to move them from the whelp box to what we call the puppy play pen in the garage at the guardian home. Here we introduce a crate without any top or doors to gradually have them feel comfortable with a crate. The puppy play pen has a door for mom to come and go as well as a puppy door which we keep closed for the next several weeks. This gives them enough room to walk and run and still be safe. They will get lots of indoor time but there is a wonderful soft handed loving little girl that can’t get enough of the puppies. 🙂 She even wants to sleep with them. Cinnie loves her humans and shares the puppies, but mom is hoping that little girl will have a little “out of sight out of mind” peace with puppies moving to garage. In about 2 weeks they will get yard time as they start moving, but we are getting ahead of ourselves.
This litter will be ready to go after the first week in September.
The next week they go from wobbly legs to starting to run and interact much more with each other as their world gets a bit bigger. They will also get their first eye trim at the end of week 4 as the eye guard hairs grow towards their eyes along with their second nail trim. I have a video that I am converting now of the move, so to hold a spot for it here is a pic of the hummingbird visit that same night. 🙂
Samantha and Steve are available at this time. If Jory is indeed with doodle, she said she will roll to that litter instead of wait until their visitors leave for their puppy.
