Scooter is Available Again.. can’t wait to see who his family is meant to be

Well, Scooter was all set to fly to Boston with his family. His flight was booked and his final health check was complete. He also had his Rabies shot since Boston required it for him to fly there. When we called about the final flight arrangements, his future family had news of their own; they were expecting, not only a doodle but their first child which for them changed adding a doodle to the family right now.
With computer program restoration, on top of Mothers day, daughter and mother discussions about wedding, son getting set to deploy and my own mothers surgery Scooter has been a blessing and what I know is there is a reason for everything. I wonder why he had to wait so long for his family but we are in no hurry. I will be putting up pictures and videos of him later tonight.
Thank you on behalf of our doodle moms for the “happy mothers day” emails. 🙂 They loved the chicken jerky treats, with Chief getting in on some of the treats since he told us he was 1/2 the equation.  We hosted the mothers day get together here and it was very nice, the weather almost fully cooperating for an outside tented BBQ meal and all kinds of goodies. The gardens were happy as they are sprouting and the veggies got a misting of rain but nothing to dampen the BBQ.
I think our other big news is now we are back to pondering our move to slightly out of town for more room to romp along with hopefully some day  room for grandchildren.  Meanwhile I get to practice with my little whelper helper and we made a date for this weekend to learn some basic quilting. 🙂 I am so thrilled, perhaps we will take tea at high noon?
Speaking of tea, Izzy’s host family was in the local paper (great picture of Izzy’s mom and Izzy) since her mom is English and she had a ceremony with her friends while watching the wedding. She volunteers along with Izzy at the local non kill shelter one that we proudly support.
That’s my news of the day and I am back to being a blogger for the time being. I found I can blog by my phone, but I am really really bad at texting. Please pardon any typos and grammar errors.  I tend to just type as I would speak.
