Just showing pictues of Izzie for the Netherland family (Hi Carolien and Ed and Charlotte!)…and others asking about how she is. (Isn’t it cool that my blog is translated across the pond automatically? No more using google translate in emails!).
Here we are after a walk by the garden in the backyard. I am starting to put out my seedlings for this year’s crop. I think I just love to grow good things. 🙂
Our hope is to first let her get comfortable and then begin her training steps towards therapy training. She still has lots of puppy energy and everything is still new to her. As you might know, we have been waiting for her for several years to add new lines to the US that still are steeped in the original Rutland and Tegan lines. She has a wonderful coat and we hope to add block boning and confirmation to her puppies, pending she test out gold paw of course. She has passed her initial hip, elbow, eyes and blood screenings. We wait for her to grow and be all she can.
Izzie is getting very comfortable at home with the new sites, smells, dogs, and languages. Some of it I think is “pretending” not to know the language. She use to know Izzie, here. But now, looks at me like she doesn’t not understand. But then wags her tail. She has a fun loving spirit and we are hoping to have the soulful intelligence learn to read others better. She is still a puppy and getting settled but has done well in settling in with other dogs. I am still waiting to really read her but am watching carefully as she is as well. It is going to be fun to watch her grow I think.
I love her coloring, in fact, my haircolor is her color as well. I like her’s better. Perhaps I will bring her with me to show the color and highlights I want?
