Muse’s puppies have arrived!

Muse started in light labor last night, heavier labor at 2:30.

A slow progression which lead to the first puppy whelping at 5:50 AM, A Creme color boy, followed by a 6:18 AM red boy, followed by a 6:59 Apricot Boy. She took a break and then started again at 7:33 with a lighter red boy. At this point daughter was texting “perhaps we could have a Jackson 5 Theme and name the boys all the Jackson 5 names”. 7:50 AM Muse whelped a red girl with a heart mismark! Daughter, not missing a beat when I texted her rapid fired back, “Janet”. 🙂

Once she had her first puppy Muse settled in as a natural mom. Videos of the whelp coming soon.
