Tonight we said goodbye to our first puppy to leave the nest; Linus. Linus picked, the family picked and it is a forever match. The other two boys in the Litter, Snoopy (now Charlie Koa) and Charlie Brown are still recovering from their desexing “surgeries” and this week. Charlie Koa should be ready to leave the nest on Thursday, while we hold Charlie Brown a bit longer as the family has vacation plans. Sally, Lucy wait for Bindi to come from Muse’s litter for a decision to be made on who is going where.
Yes, it has been a very busy last couple of months, but this makes it all worth it.
I know all their placements are right, that Daisy, now home with daughter (as of last night) is also recovering and getting back to her old self; she was a stunning first time mother and we look forward in a year or more to her next litter.
We were blessed tonight with meeting Linus entire Smith family; having only met mom from Sherwood; but not the kids and pack leader. 🙂 The joy on their faces as they embrace their new baby boy into the family is priceless. Jeff and I look forward to watching him grow in his new family. After his family left Jeff saidLinus is going to be so loved and that makes it all so worth it.
Tonight, Linus joined his new family but his transition begins tonght. Long term, I know it is good; but the mother in me still hopes he sleeps well. And so, here we are. Where we say, our end is just their beginning.

Sleep well, be well, and may God hold you all in the palm of his hand.
