Introducing Shiloh, Duke, Rowdy, Wishbone and Mattie!

Since we stayed up late waiting for whelp watching old western movies on the western channel, we decided on characters from Rawhide, Big Valley, and Roster Cogburn.
We take weekly photos, and the day they are born is the first in their series. Thinking ahead it is always just amazing how quickly they develop. In 10 days, we will start beginning to see their eyes opening, and then hearing will follow. They are born with a sense of smell and that is how they crawl towards their mom and the milk bar. They also have a sense of each of their whelp mates and this sense makes them huddle together for their first puppy pile of many during their development.
