Hello 4 Weeks! Let’s Socialize!

Bonnie and Clyde say hello to 4 weeks today. This is the typical start of moving out of the “transition” period (marked by eyes opening, ears opening and wobbly walking) to the socialization period which goes to 12 weeks. They will start wanting out more and boldly investigate larger areas like behind the couch. Where Izzy would not leave them she is now taking more time away and is more confident in them “strolling” farther away but still in her eye range. There are very healthy! With only two at the milk bar there are 12 choices but they both prefer the back seats and sometimes try to out do each other for the nipple. 🙂
The start of socialization is also big growth period with requirements for feeding at the milk bar will soon be beyond Izzy’s ability to produce so even with two food will be introduced after water near the end of this week. Typically she will begin a gentle wean and also try to escape a bit more as this week also has the start of teeth coming in.
