We had a great Thanksgiving although we missed those who could not join us from our family. Jeff’s sister and daughter came and surprised Grandpa Doodle.
As soon as this holiday season is over we are finally knocking out the wall that will allow an enlarged living room and finally move my dining room set in storage to the farm house. This was my second Thanksgiving hosting on a fold up banquet table and I love to do the full blown table scaping, holiday kick off that is Thanksgiving. I am so anxious!
Yesterday Ziva got her full bill of health and flies to California on Monday. She is a quick study, having sit down at the second try and with a goodie at the ready we are working on beg and shake. She has been crate training in the house and we drove her around bumpy roads to prepare her for her flight. After she leaves Gibbs gets my full attention on training. I am really looking forward to it.
All the puppies got lots of play time inside and out while the family visited. Grandpa even tried to sneak a puppy in his coat as they were preparing to leave. I grabbed some shots. 🙂
Today Charity’s family comes to visit as three of the puppies will be having their spay/neuter on Thursday and then we go quiet that weekend. The others will follow I just can nurse three back to health easier this way, along with their crate training. More photos coming of their puppy visit. They have grandchildren who I will enlist for photos and puppy socialization.
Happy holidays everyone!
