Belle and Chief’s final whelp; 6 is a magic number :)

Today Belle visited our wonderful vet and had a checkup and xray; although she should have puppies around Thursday of this week the xray showed everyone lined up and ready to go; and there is 6 puppies we can count.

Our vet used our testing and vet xrays at a high school presentation and next time we are letting him use our videos of the actual whelp. Yes, we film it and parents be advised “it is pretty cool to watch the birth, but it is a bit messy, bloody, and amazing”. Now that I know it might be a bit earlier than expected I better work on a page to hold the video snippets.

This will be our Belle’s (owner of Jeff’s lap) last litter and one that again has tons of love behind it; Chief and Belle have loved each other from the start, we love them both, and they produced a wonderful litter last go round. We used lover  theme last whelp…wonder what Jeff will pick this time?

After this whelp we take a break and perhaps I can finally get everything moved to one server? 🙂 Stay tuned…

Tonight and tomorrow I am sleeping on the couch as we prepare for Belle and nurse baby Sydney back to health after his “surgery” tomorrow. Jeff picked up a tree today and we will do some decorating tonight as we unpack the family memories.

I am already looking forward to Sunday when “all is calm, all is bright”.
