3 Week Update on Libby’s Litter

Moving into the 4th week now. Time is passing quickly. This 3rd week the “itty bittys” were on the move and making noise. They observe the puppies from Belles litter with a bit of fear and a bit of admiration. The interact through the Xpen we have set up around the whelp box to keep them safe from frolic focused puppies. They practice posturing, through the safety of the pen. We spend time cuddling and petting them; ah such a rough job… Puppy breath is just one of the perks.

They visited the vet for puppy check and their blood draw on Wednesday for the breeder testing. The blood draw was sent over night to the DNA lab where it should take 10 business days; so next Friday hopefully we can know what we know. I get asked why we are doing this and tell people about the possibility of being a miniature mismark breeder in another country that has to meet certain criteria. I get excited about my world traveling puppies. And think of the tax write off to go see how our lines are developing in Scotland. Again, we shall let it all unfold.

Muse, the girl is a dainty thing in movement. Chase, the boy is more spunky and verbal looking to play with the puppies. Their coloring is developing nicely and they are a bit chubby with only two in the litter. They don’t eat as eagerly as there is plenty of utter choices. J They come into the age of more walking, small running and teeth coming. I will be updating their pictures this Saturday.

We shall be making their shot appointments during the coming week, along with their micro-chipping. And before we know it; the time will be for them to fly the nest.
